The advancement of technology in the Society 5.0 era has brought significant benefits to human life while simultaneously presenting serious challenges to the moral development of young people. The decline in ethical behavior, increasing juvenile delinquency, misuse of digital media, and weakening spiritual values indicate the existence of a moral crisis among adolescents. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in addressing adolescents' moral crisis and to identify relevant revitalization strategies for Islamic Religious Education in the Society 5.0 era. This research employs a literature review method by examining scholarly articles, books, and academic documents related to Islamic Religious Education, character education, adolescent moral crisis, and the concept of Society 5.0. The collected data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive-analytical conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the revitalization of Islamic Religious Education should focus on strengthening character education based on Islamic values, integrating digital literacy into the learning process, enhancing teachers' competencies, and fostering collaboration among families, schools, and communities. Islamic Religious Education serves not only as a medium for transmitting religious knowledge but also as a means of internalizing moral and spiritual values to develop faithful, ethical, critical, technologically adaptive, and socially responsible individuals. Therefore, the revitalization of Islamic Religious Education is an essential strategy for addressing the moral challenges faced by adolescents in the Society 5.0 era.
